Top loading arms are articulated piping systems designed for the transfer of fuels and industrial liquids into road tankers and railway tank cars through top manholes. The structure is supported by a mechanical balancing system—using torsion or compression springs—or by a pneumatic system, ensuring ease of operation and optimal handling.

To meet a wide range of loading requirements, top loading arms can be configured in different versions, with variable outreach and with product inlet from either above or below.

These systems are typically equipped with a flow control valve featuring adjustable pre-opening and closing speeds to ensure safe and controlled operation. Alternatively, ball valves or other valve types can be installed according to specific user requirements.

Top loading arms are manufactured using a wide range of materials to suit different industries and operating conditions, including:
