Bottom Loading & Unloading Arms
Bottom loading arms are designed for the loading and unloading of fuels and industrial liquids into road tankers and railway tank cars. This system allows operators to work directly from ground level, eliminating the need to access the top of the tank and significantly reducing the risk of electrostatic charge generation, thereby improving overall safety.
Materials and Construction
Bottom loading arms are manufactured using a wide range of materials to meet different operational and environmental requirements, including:
- Aluminum alloys
- Cast iron
- Low-temperature steels (e.g., KCS)
- Stainless steels (AISI 304 and AISI 316)
- FKM (Viton®)
- HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber)
