LPG Loading Stations
LPG loading stations are designed for the safe transfer of hazardous pressurized liquids between stationary storage systems and mobile tanks, and vice versa. These systems ensure efficient and controlled handling of liquefied petroleum gas and similar products.
Each station is typically composed of two loading arms:
- One dedicated to the liquid phase
- One dedicated to the vapour phase
The wide operating range of the arms allows maximum coverage of loading points, ensuring flexibility and ease of operation. Stations can be supplied with a stand post, custom-designed to meet the dimensional and layout requirements of any installation.
Connections and Standards
On the plant side, the arms can be equipped with flanges according to:
- ANSI B16.5
- EN 1092-1 (PN)
On the vehicle side, available connections include:
- Lap Joint flanges
- ANSI flanges
- EN 1092-1 (PN) flanges
- Quick connection systems such as STANAG 3756
Materials
LPG loading stations can also be configured for unloading aggressive liquids. In such cases, they can be fully manufactured in:
- AISI 304L stainless steel
- AISI 316L stainless steel
Seals and gaskets are selected based on the specific product to be transferred, ensuring compatibility, safety, and long-term reliability.
