Policies

Our Policies

Elite Flow Control operates to clear standards for health, safety and the environment, confidentiality, commercial terms and product warranty. The policies below set out our commitments and the terms under which we supply our products and services.

Health, Safety & Environment Policy

Since its inception, Elite has carried out its activities, products and services in line with its leading principle: the full satisfaction of its customers' expectations.

Beyond satisfaction, customers' requirements relating to product and service quality, and the observance of safety and environmental regulations, are sustained by proper managerial administration that guarantees their full understanding and continuous respect.

Elite is committed to protecting the environment, pursuing the best possible health and safety conditions, and operating in full respect of the requirements that form a fundamental part of civil life, with reference to accident-prevention and continuous-improvement principles.

To this purpose, Elite intends to:

  • Respect all applicable laws and regulations relevant to health and safety, as well as all commitments freely undertaken within the entrepreneurial associations the Company belongs to.
  • Select, among the chemicals necessary for manufacturing and plant-maintenance activities, the substances least dangerous to people and the environment; verify their consumption carefully; manage them to prevent workers' exposure; and correctly dispose of the related waste at all times.
  • Minimise mechanical risks and limit or eliminate the noise produced by its equipment, restricting both workers' exposure and emissions to the greatest extent possible.
  • Minimise waste and emissions.
  • Evaluate all new processes, technologies, activities and services prior to their implementation, in order to correctly identify all aspects connected with HSE issues.
  • Ensure that Company management is properly informed of and involved in HSE-related subjects.
  • Ensure that Company personnel are properly informed of and involved in HSE-related subjects, and instructed to act in line with the Company HSE guidelines.
  • Suitably monitor and evaluate the integrated system's efficiency and pursue its continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that suppliers and external collaborators adopt conduct fully in line with the Company HSE guidelines.
  • Embrace the best available techniques for prevention procedures and emergency control.
  • Periodically re-examine the adopted HSE policy to evaluate its correctness and effectiveness, consistent with the Company's continuous-improvement commitment.
  • Implement an integrated Management System in accordance with the most appropriate available regulations.
  • Maintain an open and constructive communication attitude towards the public, users, Civil Authorities and all involved parties.
  • Extend the content of this policy to all Elite employees, both direct and indirect; it is available to the public and to anyone upon request.
  • Distribute this policy upon completion of all the necessary certifications provided by the management system in force.

Elite intends to deliver copies of this document to its employees, the cleaning service, and the plant and building maintenance companies, as well as to post it on the Company notice board.

Privacy Policy

All information about customers and projects is kept confidential by Elite and is never intentionally shared with any third party.

The catalogues, data sheets and drawings are the property of Elite. If this data is obtained from Elite during the proposal stage and then used by any customer, entity or individual for production by any other company, it will be treated as an illegal act, and lawful action will be taken in accordance with the applicable law.

Warranty

  1. All products from Elite are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of installation, or an 18-month warranty from the date of shipment, whichever comes earlier.
  2. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. If the failure is due to incorrect operation by the customer, the warranty does not apply.
  3. To claim under the warranty for a manufacturing defect, the customer must prepare a detailed rejection report including the inspection procedure, the operational report and photographs of the product. If this report proves the fault is due to a manufacturing defect, Elite will provide the appropriate solution.

If the TPI finds the failure was caused by a manufacturing defect, all TPI expenses are paid by Elite; if the TPI finds the failure was due to incorrect operation by the customer, all TPI costs are paid by the customer.
