API 602 Forged Steel PSB Gate Valve

Elite Flow Control’s API 602 Forged Steel PSB (Pressure Seal Bonnet) Gate Valves are engineered for the most demanding high-pressure and high-temperature isolation service. Available in pressure classes of 1500LB and 2500LB, these valves are the go-to solution where standard bolted bonnet designs cannot meet the extreme sealing requirements of critical process systems.

The defining feature of the PSB Gate Valve is its Pressure Seal Bonnet – a self-energising design where the sealing force on the bonnet gasket increases proportionally with rising line pressure. This eliminates the risk of bonnet leakage under extreme operating conditions, making these valves particularly suited for high-pressure steam systems, power generation plants, refineries, and petrochemical facilities.

Available in two end connection configurations – SW(NPT) and RTJ – these valves offer installation flexibility across a wide range of high-pressure piping systems. Constructed from a comprehensive selection of ASTM-standard materials including carbon steel, low-temperature carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, and alloy steel, they can be specified to meet virtually any process fluid or temperature requirement.
