These vacuum planetary mixers are designed for the production and processing of creams, ointments, toothpaste, cosmetic products, detergents, emulsions and other viscous or thixotropic products. They are particularly suitable for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical processes requiring controlled mixing, homogenisation and dispersion.
The system combines a two-speed planetary agitator with a bottom-mounted high-speed turbine, providing effective mixing throughout the vessel. The planetary agitator is equipped with PTFE (Teflon) scraper blades that continuously sweep the vessel wall, helping maintain uniform mixing and improve heat transfer while reducing product build-up.
The process vessel is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel and incorporates a jacket for product heating or cooling. Internal surfaces are polished for easier cleaning, while external surfaces are finished to provide a clean and professional industrial installation.
The vessel cover includes connections for the introduction of liquids and powders, including vacuum-assisted product loading, together with a product discharge arrangement. Standard process monitoring can include a thermometer, vacuum gauge, sight glass and internal vessel lighting.
The hydraulic system provides convenient cover lifting and vessel tilting, helping simplify product handling, discharge, cleaning and maintenance. Electrical operation is provided through a three-phase supply with a low-voltage control panel incorporating appropriate operational safety controls.
Additional equipment such as product discharge pumps, powder/liquid charging hoppers and liquid-ring vacuum pumps can be supplied according to process requirements.
