Adjustable Industrial Mixers for Open Tanks
These mobile agitators are designed for wall-mounted installation on a vertical column, allowing the mixer to move up and down to suit different tank heights and mixing requirements. This arrangement provides a flexible solution where one mixer may be required to operate with different open tanks or at different working positions.
The agitator can be manually positioned and securely locked at the required height. Vertical movement can be carried out using a counterweight or manual winch, while the mixer can also be swivelled longitudinally by up to approximately 25° for easier positioning.
Standard configurations are available with motor powers up to 7.5 kW and can be supplied with a geared drive. Different gearbox constructions and direct-coupled arrangements are available depending on the required operating speed and mixing duty.
These mixers are particularly suitable for paints, dyes, pigments, colours and other relatively high-density products processed in open tanks and containers.
For larger units or applications requiring frequent height adjustment, a motorised lifting system with electrical control panel can be supplied. Alternative mounting arrangements include mobile trolley/truck mounting or floor-mounted support systems.
