Floating Aeration & Circulation Systems for Wastewater Treatment
These floating low-speed surface aerators are designed to provide efficient oxygen transfer, wastewater circulation and biological mixing without requiring a fixed bridge or permanent support structure across the treatment basin.
The aerator is supported by a robust floating structure incorporating three cylindrical flotation buoys. The buoys are filled with high-density polyurethane foam to provide stable flotation and reliable support during operation.
An adjustable immersion system allows the operating position of the aeration turbine to be changed. The height of the supporting beams can be adjusted through a bolted plate arrangement, enabling the turbine immersion depth to be set according to the basin and operating requirements.
The low-speed turbine creates continuous circulation within the basin while promoting oxygen transfer from the atmosphere into the wastewater. This helps maintain effective contact between oxygen, wastewater and microorganisms during biological treatment.
The floating configuration provides additional installation flexibility and is particularly useful for lagoons, ponds, aeration basins and treatment tanks where construction of a permanent bridge or support platform may not be practical.
