Bottom-Mounted Mixing Solution for Fermentation & Process Vessels
These fixed bottom-entry agitators are designed for installation at the bottom of closed tanks and process vessels using a suitable flange and counter-flange connection. Their bottom-mounted configuration provides effective product circulation while keeping the top of the vessel available for other process equipment.
The agitators are equipped with a mechanical sealing system to provide reliable shaft sealing between the process vessel and drive assembly.
This design is particularly suitable for vinegar production, wine processing and fermentation applications where efficient mixing and controlled air distribution within the product are required.
For fermentation processes requiring oxygen, the agitator can incorporate an air-injection arrangement that introduces air into the product during mixing. The specially designed impeller helps distribute the injected air throughout the liquid, improving contact between the air and product and supporting the required fermentation process.
An air-motor drive can also be supplied where required by the application.
