Elite Flow Control’s API 602 Forged Steel Gate Valves are precision-engineered for reliable, full-bore isolation in high-pressure and high-temperature service. Bodies and bonnets are produced entirely from high-integrity forged steel, giving these valves outstanding mechanical strength, superior pressure containment, and long service life under the most demanding operating conditions.
As on/off isolation valves, forged steel gate valves provide a straight-through, unobstructed flow path when fully open, which keeps pressure drop and turbulence to a minimum. When closed, the wedge seats firmly against the body seats to deliver a tight, leak-proof shut-off that protects downstream equipment and process systems.
Built to API 602 and ASME B16.34, this standard bolted-bonnet configuration is widely specified across power plants, oil and gas facilities, petrochemical plants, refineries, and allied industries for controlling air, water, steam, and a broad range of corrosive and non-corrosive process fluids.
